Academician Jiang Yi of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and National Engineering Survey and Design Master Luo Jijie Visit Aolan for Inspection and Guidance

On September 22, Jiang Yi, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Director of the Building Energy Research Center at Tsinghua University, and Luo Jijie, National Engineering Survey and Design Master, visited Aolan for inspection and guidance. They were accompanied by Huang Hualing, Chairman of Aolan; He Huaming, Chief Engineer and Professor-level Senior Engineer; Zhou Shulin, Deputy General Manager; and Lan Jinsheng, Assistant to the General Manager, during the visit and exchanges.

In the company’s showroom, Academician Jiang Yi and Master Luo Jijie listened in detail to an introduction of Aolan’s nearly three decades of technological accumulation and product layout in the fields of evaporative cooling and solution temperature and humidity control, and held in-depth exchanges on related technical directions.

Academician Jiang Yi is the first Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering in China’s HVAC field and one of the main founders of the domestic discipline of artificial environment engineering. He has long been engaged in research on building energy efficiency and energy system optimization. Luo Jijie, National Engineering Survey and Design Master and Honorary President of the Building Environment and Energy Application Branch of the China Exploration and Design Association, is one of the leaders of China’s HVAC engineering discipline and an expert in the field of environmental support for national defense engineering. He has devoted his life to research on high-efficiency and low-energy-consumption environmental support technologies.

The academic careers of both experts are closely linked to the technical route of “replacing mechanical refrigeration with natural energy and creating comfortable environments in a low-energy-consumption manner.” Academician Jiang Yi has twice won the National Technological Invention Award for two research achievements: “Indirect Evaporative Water Chiller for Air Conditioning in Dry Areas of Western China” and “Solution Humidity Control Air Handling Device.” His research direction is highly consistent with Aolan’s two core products—indirect evaporative cooling air-conditioning units and solution temperature and humidity control air-conditioning units.

As one of China’s first batch of specialized, refined, distinctive and innovative “little giant” enterprises, a drafting unit of the national standard for Evaporative Air Coolers, and the president unit of the Evaporative Cooling Air Conditioning Branch of the China Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Industry Association, Aolan has for more than 20 years continued to promote independent R&D and innovation in evaporative cooling and solution temperature and humidity control technologies, with products exported to more than 70 countries and regions worldwide. This visit reflects the top industry experts’ high recognition of Aolan’s industrialization achievements in the field of natural cold source air conditioning, and further strengthens Aolan’s determination and confidence to continue deepening its work in this niche segment.
